«Destroying things is much easier than making them.»

This quote is simple so is the meaning that it carries. To make it clear, I will give an example to show how I see it. Remember the metaphor that draws an analogy between the word “sorry” and a glass? The point is that it is a way easier to break the glass than to gather all the fragment and unite them. The same is with our life. To offend someone is like a piece of cake, but to recover those trustful relationships is practically impossible. What is more, to say “sorry” is difficult especially when you are strongly believe that your point of view is more acceptable.

To destroy things easier, it is true. It is far easier to destroy your health having bad habits. Few hours of sleep, junk food, smoking, constant stress — all of these things harm your body. Usually, people don’t pay much attention to all of this. What is more, it is difficult to repair your health by getting healthy habits because it will take a significant amount of time to stick to a good daily schedule, food that may seem not that tasty as fast food and so on.

Even a card-castle is easy to break because it takes a couple of seconds, but to make it once again will take twice as more time.

Have you ever thought why it is easy to break something not only physically but mentally as well? In my book, this is just a thing people are given to learn how to appreciate some things such as friendship, love, trust, care, etc. It is difficult to bite your tongue when arguing with somebody but that is how we destroy things. Therefore, people can betray their friends or cheat on their sweethearts and that’s how people break everything in the twinkle of an eye and it is really hard to get things back on the rails.

All in all, I would like to say that we should appreciate things and people around us. Look around, there are always people that are ready to help. Your friends and family are the things that we should protect not only from other people but from themselves when we are ready to destroy everything.
